According to the person who nominated her for the 2020 Influential Women in Manufacturing award, Meghan has created a culture within the CAD/CAM software company that feels like family and where every member is inspired to do their best.
As president of the company, Meghan travels globally to represent the company and its flagship product, Mastercam CAD/CAM software. It it with ‘laser sharp focus’ that she’s been able to lead the Connecticut-based company, which as remained family-owned and privately held under Meghan’s direction.
Inspiring females to consider careers in manufacturing is one of Meghan’s passions. During Manufacturing Day, Meghan consistently invites local girl scout troops and area schools in order to engage with and teach what’s possible in the world of manufacturing. Meghan also supports and volunteers with a Connecticut-based organization called Girls for Technology that promotes STEM careers. CNC Software is also a supporter and tech volunteer at both the Skills USA and World Skills organizations.
Meghan not only supports and encourages the women who work alongside her at CNC Software, she also makes sure the Senior Executive Team meetings include women at the table. She is also a supporter and sponsor of Women in Manufacturing.
At the company, Meghan leads by empowering all employees—men and women alike—to take action, take risks, and solve manufacturing challenges.
