To qualify for the 2019 IWIM class, her age or her role in the company do not factor in; however, she should have done something or is doing something that fosters the growth of other women in manufacturing. Our judges look at what she’s accomplished that has moved her company, department, or team forward. The entries should also explain how she’s influential or how she’s demonstrated thought leadership.

When you say ‘manufacturing’ what kind of companies or products do you mean?

At Putman Media, we cover the gamut of industrial manufacturing: from chemicals to pharmaceuticals, food to technology and everywhere in between. If your company builds it, sells it, produces it, educates about it, or works in the industrial manufacturing space, you qualify.

Previous honorees have come from companies like Dow Chemical, Eli Lilly, Intel, as well as from universities, NASA Academy, dairy Co-ops, engineering firms, and technology groups.
